Tips for Success

  1. Plan properly (allow time):

Plan your project to allow time for the materials to arrive before starting work. Avoid scheduling remodeling projects for times when you go on holidays, travel, or plan important events. While we do our best, sometimes during installation unexpected obstacles might be uncovered that could cause some unplanned delay.
  2. Budget with cushion:

While it doesn't happen every time, it is better to factor in the unexpected. In addition to buying the cabinets, countertop, sinks, faucets, etc., keep in mind some remodeling projects may uncover unforeseen concerns you may not see such as water leaks or damage, moisture issues, plumbing or electrical moves or additions, etc.
  3. Prepare thoroughly:

Cover belongings, like furniture, appliances, TVs, or other items that could collect dust and debris, to make sure they are safe. Turn off HVAC systems during the renovation project to avoid dispersing dust and clogging filters.
  4. Read your contract carefully:

Make sure you fully understand the scope of work and responsibilities of both sides, when signing a contract. Avoid assumptions related to the delivery, payment and scope of work.
  5. Understand Project Plan Changes:

If you make changes during a remodeling project, this can cause delays, added charges, and problems when it comes to cabinets because the orders are created using specific measurements. Changes may require different cabinet sizes or fillers. Assemble only when you're certain of the final design.
  6. Know Installation and other Restrictions:

Once a cabinet is assembled or a floor is installed, it cannot be returned or exchanged. Returns are subject to a restock fee and some items may not be returnable based on the terms and conditions of the sale (e.g. "Sold As Is" / Discontinued). Please read carefully our Return & Warranty Policy.
