What to expect at your appointment
Whichever option you pick, the goal is the same: get you a clear layout and an honest price with no pressure. A virtual consultation (30 minutes, free) is the fastest way to talk through your kitchen and get pointed in the right direction. A showroom visit lets you open real cabinet doors and see the finishes in person at our Chicago location, and an in-home measurement gets you an exact layout and quote for your actual space.
To make the most of it, have a few things ready: rough measurements or photos of your kitchen, a ballpark budget, and any inspiration pictures of styles you like. You don’t need final plans. That’s what the appointment is for. There’s no deposit to book and no obligation to buy.

Which appointment should I book?
Book the virtual consultation if you want quick answers on styles, sizes or timing and you are not ready to come in yet. Have a few photos of your kitchen open during the call and we can talk through them with you.
Book the showroom visit if you want to see the doors, finishes and drawer boxes in person before you choose. Bring your measurements or photos and we can start a layout while you are here.
Book the in-home measurement if you are ready to order, or if your kitchen has angled walls, soffits, an uneven ceiling or anything else that is hard to measure yourself. It is free. We measure the room, note the windows, doors, plumbing and appliance spots, and use those numbers for your final layout and quote.
What happens after your appointment
Once we have your numbers, we draw a cabinet layout using the styles we keep in stock in Chicago and send you an itemized quote. You can ask for changes, compare a few door styles or try a different layout before you decide. Most stock styles are ready in a few days, and you can pick them up at the showroom or have them delivered.
Questions before you book
Do I need exact measurements for a showroom or virtual appointment?
No. Rough wall lengths and a few photos are enough to start. Every number gets checked before anything is ordered.
Is the in-home measurement free?
Yes. There is no charge for the in-home measurement and no obligation to buy.
How far do you travel to measure?
We measure homes within about 50 miles of our showroom on Kildare Avenue. If you are farther out, call us and we will tell you what we can do, or send your own measurements for a free design.
